Biography[]

Actress, producer and director Cheryl Hines is a two-time Emmy Award nominee for her role as “Cheryl David” on the Golden Globe Award-winning series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” the brainchild of “Seinfeld” co-creator Larry David.

In 2014, Hines wrapped a three-season run on the comedy series “Suburgatory,” opposite Jeremy Sisto and Jane Levy. Her big screen credits include “Christmas Eve,” “Life After Beth,” “Cold Turkey,” “The Ugly Truth,” “RV,” “Waitress,” “The Grand” and “Bart Got A Room.”

Behind the camera, Hines made her feature film directorial debut in 2009 with “Serious Moonlight,” starring Meg Ryan and Timothy Hutton. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She also has produced and directed several television projects, including serving as executive producer and creator of the series “School Pride,” a proactive, alternative series that told the stories of communities coming together to renovate their aging and broken public schools. Additionally, she produced the award-winning comedy series “Campus Ladies” and “Hollywood Residential.”

Hines currently can be seen co-starring in “Nine Lives,” with Kevin Spacey and Christopher Walken, and directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. She also co-stars in Craig Johnson’s upcoming feature comedy, “Wilson,” opposite Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern.
